Child hurt in Garvaghy Rd crash

The scene at a road traffic acident between a car and a forty foot lorry on the Garvaghy Goad on Thursday afternoon. INPT09-201.

A CHILD has been injured in a crash on Portadown’s Gavaghy Road.

The collision between a lorry and a silver Ford Focus happened at 12.45pm today.

Paramedics treated the child, who had a bump on the head, at the scene.

A PSNI spokesperson said the child, whose parents were also in the car, didn’t need hospital treatment.
