Kennedy opens advice centre in Markethill

THE Ulster Unionist leader, Mike Nesbitt MLA officially opened the new Markethill Advice Centre of Newry & Armagh Ulster Unionist MLA, Danny Kennedy.

Mr Kennedy was also joined by local people, councillors, family and colleagues. Mr Kennedy has operated a constituency office in Markethill since his election as an MLA for the Newry & Armagh constituency in 1998.

Mr Nesbitt said, “Danny Kennedy is a dedicated, hard working community representative and these offices will help Danny and his Ulster Unionist team to expand their service to the people of Newry & Armagh.’

Speaking following the official opening Mr Kennedy said, “I am delighted to be able to open a bigger Advice Centre here in Markethill which underlines the Ulster Unionist Party`s commitment to providing a full-time constituency service to the people of Newry & Armagh.’

“I will also continue to operate my Advice Centre in Tandragee. The Ulster Unionist Party has a strong, dedicated team working on the ground in Newry & Armagh and these offices enhance the services provided by all of our elected representatives.”
