M1 closed because of lorry fire

THE M1 motorway was closed in both directions between Lurgan and Moira on Wednesday night after a lorry went on fire.

Motorists were advised to seek an alternative route for their journey.

Long queues were seen coming into Moira after 7pm as countrybound traffic was diverted off the motorway.
