Man (21) charged with child sex offences

A 21 year old Tandragee man has been charged with causing a child to engage in sexual activity and possession of an indecent photograph of a child.

Aaron William Kinnin, of Ballymore Road, Tandragee, appeared on Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He was charged that on March 17 last year he caused a child under 16 years of age to engage in sexual activity.

Kinnin was charged with two further offences, alleged to have happened between January 1, 2010 and March 16, 2012.

They are possession of an indecent photograph of a child and encouraging or assisting a child under 16 years of age to take an indecent photograph of a child,

A detective constable told the court that he believed he could connect the defendant with the charge.

Kinnin was remanded on his own bail of £300, with the condition he stay away from the injured party, to appear again at Craigavon Magistrates Court on March 27.
