Man is assaulted in bar brawl

A MAN was taken to hospital after he was assaulted in the Armagh Road area of Portadown on Boxing Day.

The victim was assaulted by an unknown male during a disturbance at licensed premises between 6pm and 7pm.

A police spokesman said the man’s injuries “are not believed to be life threatening at this time”.

They have asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them at Portadown on 0845 600 8000 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
