Man sent for trial after found with weapons

A PORTADOWN man has been sent for trial to Craigavon Court on arms charges.

Dale Lutton (20) of West Street, Portadown, appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.

The charges against him allege that on June 22, 2011, he had ammunition in his possession in suspicious circumstances, possession of a VZ26 sub-machine gun, possession of a FN Browning and possession of a class C drug.

Lutton was remanded on his own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on April 18.
