Man suffers head injuries in Thomas Street assault

POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in Thomas Street during the early hours of Friday, January, 27.

A 30-year-old occupant of a house in Thomas Street was assaulted by a number of males after 1am. The man sustained injuries to his head which required medical treatment.

The first male is described as being slim with a large forehead, receding hairline, big nose, blue eyes and dirty fair hair. The second male is described as being of medium build with tattoos on his forearms, very short hair and blue eyes. He was wearing light blue jeans. The third male is described as being of medium/large build with black, short hair. He was wearing a blue and white checked, long sleeve short, blue jeans and dark shoes with no laces.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any activity in Thomas Street at the time or has any relevant information to contact them in Portadown on 0845 600 8000. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
