Pipe bomb found near police station

A PIPE bomb was found during a security alert near Brownlow Police Station on Wednesday morning.

The station and the Legahory Centre were cordoned off following the discovery of a suspicious device.

The device has now been removed for further examination.

The area has been reopened to motorists and pedestrians.
