Purse stolen from premises in Cecil Street

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a purse from business premises on Cecil Street.

Around 10am on Tuesday, February 26, a purse was taken from a handbag in hairdressing premises. A male was observed taking cash from the purse and discarding the purse.

The male was wearing shiny, black tracksuit bottoms, a green top and had black hair.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Portadown on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
