Woman thrown off horse

POLICE are appealing for information after a female horse rider was injured in an incident on Farlough Road, Birches.

Around 12pm on Sunday, December 16, a maroon coloured 4x4 type vehicle approached at speed and swerved around the horse.

The horse subsequently reared up and threw the rider who sustained injuries which required medical treatment.

Anyone with information should ring police in Portadown on 0845 600 8000.
