A Portadown man was fined £150 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for indecent behaviour on April 13 this year.
He was 48-year-old Thomas Edward McAdams, Oaktree Mews, Portadown, and he was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that at 2.30am police saw the defendant in Church Lane urinating through railings into the grounds of a church.
McAdams, who was intoxicated, at first refused to give his details but eventually did so.
A solicitor for the defendant said he was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. He had asked to go back into the bar to use the toilet but was refused as staff were trying to clear the premises.
