Man charged over Portadown ‘cannabis factory’


A 19-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis at an address in Portadown.

Linas Baguilas, Obins Street, Portadown, appeared in the dock last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He is charged that on February 26 this year he had possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of cannabis and cultivating cannabis plants at 176 Obins Street, Portadown.

Baguilas is also charged with dishonestly diverting electricity at the same address, preventing a meter from registering and dishonestly using electricity.

He was remanded in custody to appear again in court by way of videolink on March 28.
