‘Matchmaker’ at Drumcree Centre

LOVERS of good comedy will adore the Phoenix Players production of John B. Keane’s ‘The Matchmaker’ which is being staged at Drumcree Parish Centre on Saturday March 23.

It’s curtain-up at 8pm, and the experienced cast is looking forward what should be a full house at the comfortable venue.

It’s the cherished story of ‘Dickie’ O’Connor who receives a plethora of ‘begging’ letters - begging him to match man with woman and with hilarious consequences.

The seasoned Dennis McKeever plays the title role, and the strong cast includes Eamon Hamill as ‘Thady’ and Ann Fleming as ‘Fionnuala Crust’. So go along and enjoy a special night out.
