Four male members of Portadown Christian Aid are rolling up their sleeves and getting cooking in preparation for the monthly lunch next Wednesday.

The men are planning to spoil diners at Armagh Road Presbyterian Church Hall with a choice of mushroom, tomato, vegetable and chorizo soups.

Traditionally, it’s the women from various churches who make the lunches, so this will be a chance for the men to turn up the heat and show off their culinary prowess.

The soup will be served with bread and cheese, followed by tea/coffee and a biscuit. The minimum donation is £3.
