Portadown College pupil Molly Liggett will take to the stage this weekend as Cinderella.

The show, produced by Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society (MADS!), will be held in Portadown Town Hall.

MADS! will perform Cinderella twice this weekend, the first on Saturday at 5pm in which Davan Kelly from Lurgan will take the lead role, and the second on Sunday at the same time when Molly will take the starring role.

Molly is no stranger to the stage, having performed as Louisa in The Sound of Music, King Louie in The Jungle Book, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz and Flounder in The Little Mermaid.

Show producer Kieran Corr said, “Molly is a bundle of talent and has all the attributes for performing in musical theatre. She is an accomplished dancer, singer and actor .... and is just perfect for the role of Cinderella.

“We have a very talented cast for this show who are really looking forward to performing in front of a live audience.”

Tickets cost £6 and can be bought from Winnie’s Newsagents, Portadown, Greenes Nisa Local, Legahory Centre, and Print Business Supplies, Lurgan or pay at the door.

Both shows will have a princess theme and young girls attending are encouraged to dress as their favourite princess. There will be a small gift for everyone who comes dressed up.
