Moutray welcomes retention of the police reserve
Mr Moutray said, “There is a significant threat from dissident republican terrorist organisations right across Northern Ireland. That threat is particularly high in some areas such as here in Upper Bann.
“This area was facing a net loss of some 90 police officers. I therefore very much welcome the decision by the Chief Constable to retain 225 members of the Full-Time-Reserve for the next year in order to combat that threat.

“This decision is something that is good for policing and good for community safety. It ought to be welcomed by everyone,” he added.
