No insurance man receives driving ban

On the tot up points system a 45-year-old man was banned from driving for six months last Friday at Craigavon Court.

Conrad Joseph Litter, Obins Street, Portadown was fined £350 and given six penalty points.

The offence came to light when he was stopped while driving on Carrickblacker Road on February 22.

His barrister said he had changed banks and had forgotten to change his direct debit

He added that the loss of his licence would mean Litter would have difficulties in getting to work. He had since obtained his insurance.
