A 43-year-old woman was fined £200 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on January 21 this year.
Sonata Zilinskiene, Garvaghy Park, Portadown, also received six points and was ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard the offence came to light when she was stopped on the Garvaghy Road.
Mr Joe McDonald, representing the defendant, said she was driving her partner’s vehicle at the time.
He explained that she had her own car and her own insurance but her partner’s insurance had lapsed because he had not made payments.
