Pavilion packed for event
The Roy Harrison Pavilion was packed to capacity with party supporters and the event was also attended by party leader Mike Nesbitt MLA, his wife Lynda Bryans, local MLA Jo-Anne Dobson and UUP councillors.
Mrs Dobson extended her congratulations to Waringstown Cricket Club, who only a week previously had beaten Instonians to win the Challenge Cup.

“Waringstown has always been an important centre of Ulster Unionism and it was wonderful to see so many party supporters and friends coming along to enjoy the excellent food and entertainment.
“We also got the opportunity to once again congratulate Waringstown Cricket Club on their recent success in winning the prestigious NCU Challenge Cup - the 23rd time Waringstown have won the cup since it began back in 1887.”
Branch secretary Marc Woods said: “Waringstown branch is going from strength to strength. The fact that this event was oversubscribed shows the huge support within the village and indeed surrounding area for our party, our branch and for our events.
