Enhanced view from Knockagh courtesy of garden furniture gift
Michaela Chambers, who is activity co-ordinator at Knockagh Rise Nursing Home, was one of several people who visited the Rotary club as guest speaker during the presidency of Colin de Fleury.
Michaela provided an insight into the scope of her job and the fulfilment it brought. In the course of her visit, she identified a need for some garden furniture to allow residents to enjoy the outside space and the magnificent views of Belfast Lough, the Co. Down coast and the Mourne Mountains in good weather.

The owner of the home, James Wilson, joined Michaela in expressing gratitude for and appreciation of the gift, on behalf of the residents and staff.
They commented on how much the new furniture would enhance the residents’ enjoyment of the outside space and views of the surrounding countryside from the elevated position of Knockagh.
