BBC Radio Ulster will be broadcasting from Armagh on August 6 and 8, as part of the station’s 40th birthday celebrations.

On Thursday, The Arts Show at 6.30pm comes live from the Market Theatre with guest Mary Coughlan.

At 8pm, Ralph McLean will be in the company of Pat McManus, Crowbar Blues and Freedom 35s.

Saturday sees John Toal broadcasting live from The Men’s Shed at 11am and Gerry Kelly will be at the Picnic in the Palace Park from 12.30pm, with guests Ben Reel and Peter Corry.
