Markethill musician Raymond McClure, complete with violin and backing music, will return to JD Hunter’s Supermarket in Markethill to take on his annual festive event for Southern Area Hospice.

Raymond will arrive at Hunter’s on Monday, December 21 for three days and is sure to delight the crowd with some festive cheer.

Having raised almost £2,000 last year, Raymond is looking forward to this year’s event and the prospect of raising much needed funds for the charity.

Lisa Hamill, regional marketing officer at the hospice, thanked Raymond for his support and loyalty, and encouraged the public to support him.

Lisa also thanked the staff and management of JD Hunter for allowing this event to take place each Christmas.

The hospice provides support and care to people living within the southern area who are suffering from cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and AIDS.

All its services are provided free of charge and it relies heavily on voluntary donations, with almost two-thirds of funding coming from donations.
