Scarvagh House to host country sports sports at

Two days of country sports and pursuits are being held this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at Scarvagh House, Banbridge.

The Northern Ireland CountrySports Fair will feature everything from gun dog tests and archery to clay pigeon shooting and angling.

Other attractions including the Yakovlevs air display, Phoenix Falconry and the Trial Star Motorcycle Trails, which will be in the main arena.

More than 170 exhibitors will be showcasing at the event, 1,000 plus competitors are set to compete and 18,000 visitors are expected to pass through the gates.

Tomorrow (Saturday) a shuttle bus service will leave Portadown Train Station (Northway) at 10am, 11.15am and 12.45pm travelling to the Park Inn, Scarva.

A return shuttle services will leave at 2.45pm, 3.45pm and 5.15pm.

On Sunday, the bus will leave at 10.10am, 11.10am, 12.10pm and 1.10pm.

Return shuttle services will depart at 3.10pm, 4.10pm and 5.10pm.

A return Portadown shuttle bus ticket costs £5.40.
