Dancers are wanted for a ‘Strictly Goes Country’ show in aid of Southern Area Hospices.

It will take place in Armagh City Hotel on Saturday, June 27 and will see 10 couples take to the stage to showcase their dance moves.

‘Strictly Goes Country’ will follow a similar format to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, and will see the participating couples jiving, line-dancing and doing the huckle-buck, amongst other dances, to impress the judging panel and the audience.

No previous experience is necessary. Full training will be provided by teacher Marty O’Connor of ‘Get Fit, Come Dancing’. Participants don’t need to have a partner to sign up as the couples will be randomly selected when all the dancers have been recruited.

All money raised will go to the hospice which needs to raise £2.38 million in 2015 to fund its services.

If you would like to volunteer to take part in the show or if you would like to reserve tickets for the night (£12 each) contact Anne MacOscar in the fundraising department on 028 3025 1333 or email macoscara@southernareahospiceservices.org.
