A sick link to a fake news story about four teenagers being killed in a crash in Craigavon has been lambasted.

The link which has a photo of a blue car crushed into the back of a lorry purports to lead to a news story on the crash.

It states: “4 teens killed in car runs red light’.

However when you click on the link you are brought to a page with one of those pop up boxes offering you a chance to win a smartphone.

The latest post was by a man claiming to be Russian Alexey Muratov who posted it to a missing pets Facebook Page in Craigavon.

It has since been removed by the administrators of the pets site.

One Facebook user who clicked on the link described it as ‘sick’.
