On two occasions a 26-year-old man stole a pair of trainers from the Tesco store in Portadown.
Evaldas Petrauskas, Ballyoran Park, Portadown, admitted the two thefts of footwear, valued at £14 each, on May 14 and June 6 this year.
The court heard police went to Tescos in Meadow Lane after a report of a shoplifter when on two occasions a pair of trainers had been stolen. Neither pair was fit for re-sale.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said the defendant was in breach of suspended sentences and adjourned the case until January 13 next year so that a pre-sentence report could be obtained.
