Tea dance raises £1,600 for Lourdes

A tea dance in aid of the Lurgan Lourdes Committee has been hailed a huge success after raising £1,600 on Sunday.

Dozens of prizes were raffled at the event in St Paul’s GAA Club and an excellent turnout meant a very successful fundraiser.

Organised by Geraldine Haughian, praised was heaped on her sisters Anne Mason and Rosemary McGuinness, her brother-in-law Seamus and her mum Maura Greene who worked tirelessly to ensure the event went smoothly.

Geraldine thanked all who came and said she was amazed by their generosity. Praise was also heaped on Black Gold who provided the afternoon entertainment. Geraldine thanked her neices Danni and Emma Higgins and her daughters Niamh and Brianna Haughian who all worked very hard as well as her husband Brian.

Raffle donations came from Estee lauder, Clinique, Benefit, Clarins, Perfume counters at Debenhams Rushmere, Salon Select, Radiance Beauty, Mallons Butchers, McQuaids shop, Costcutters Antrim Road, Woodville Arms, Cafe Vibe, Columbia Gym, Hannons fruit shop, Conor Mc Corry driving instructer and Linda May dance at Kaboom.
