Three children under ten years old and two adults were rescued after a 27ft cruiser struck rocks at a notoriously dangerous area of Lough Neagh.

HM Coastguard sent Lough Neagh Rescue’s Ardboe and Kinnego lifeboats to the Skane Flats area, just north of Kinnego Bay at 5.58pm last Thursday (July 17).
