The Queen’s University student, who lives in Kernan Hill, chatted to Chris about his ongoing voluntary work with Goal Line Youth Trust in Portadown. The 18-year-old has been a regular weekly junior leader at the club for the past three years and helps organise the various activities and trips.

In particular, he enjoys spending time with young people who have disabilities, learning difficulties and special needs.

Keelan was also able to use his experiences to gain the relevant sections of his BB Queen’s Badge and DoE Gold award.

He was accompanied on the trip by his mum Caroline and local man and NI BB national director Jonathan Gracey, among other BB staff.

Keelan says he intends to continue supporting both the BB and Goal Line as much as he can.
