A 28-year-old man was given three points on his licence last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for using a mobile phone while driving.
Stephen Crawford, whose address was given as Drumellan Park, Craigavon, was also fined £75 for the offence.
As well he was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy for failing to produce his licence to police.
The court heard that on December 11 last year he was seen using his mobile phone while driving on Highfield Road in Craigavon.
He agreed to produce both parts of his licence to police but failed to do so.
Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said his client had gone to pick up a prescription for his wife.
