Motorists have been warned of treacherous driving conditions as heavy rain lashes the Borough.
Already parts of north Armagh are flooded and, with a Yellow Warning from the Met Office, it is feared the situation may get worse.
TransportNI has advised caution to motorists.
“Given the recent wet weather, please be aware of an increased risk of both surface and river flooding as well as some local disruption to transport.”
Roads close to the River Bann particularly at Derrytrasna have been submerged with some completely impassable.
Local SDLP Cllr Declan McAlinden said: “After calling with a number of residents these last few days , they have all voiced concerns regarding the unprecedented amount of flooding off their grounds.
“Luckily the waters haven’t reached their houses yet but if this spell continues we could have major problems for the rural dwellers.”
The PSNI has also warned drivers to be careful.
“Due to anticipated heavy rain today and tomorrow Police are reminding motorists to take extra care on the roads, observe all road closed signage and to refrain from driving through heavily flooded areas.
“Officers would advise drivers to turn back if a road looks impassable and to pay attention to road signs warning of possible disruption and diversions.”
