Thomas Street Methodist Church is hosting its fifth annual ‘Love Week’ beginning on Saturday, February 7 with a prayer day in the church from 10am to 4pm.
On Sunday, The Edge Youth service takes place at 11am and there will be lunch in the Wesley Hall, where NI Boys’ Brigade director Jonathan Gracey will share his testimony.
That afternoon at 3pm, Derek Laverty will speak at the BB Old Boys’ Bible Study and in the evening at 7pm it’s the Love the Circuit service in Mahon Methodist Church.
Monday is an evening of coffee, craic and praise in the Upper Room.
On Tuesday, the Girls’ Brigade are having a ‘Pudding Night’ in the Wesley Hall, where all sorts of home-made puddings can be sampled.
Wednesday at 7.30pm is a night of joint Bible Study with the BB and the midweek group where a speaker from The Open Door will share about the persecuted churches.
On Thursday at 5.30pm church members will go on door-to-door outreach, and on Friday there’s a kids’ praise party in the Wesley Hall at 6.45pm. All children from four years up are welcome.
On Saturday, the church car park will be the venue for the Action Cancer Big Bus all day and tea/coffee will be available in the Minor Hall while you have your car washed.
The final Sunday will celebrate the week with a family service at 11am in the main church, and Glengormley Methodist Youth Choir will round off the week at 7pm.
