CHARITY aid provided by people in Portadown will form the main focus of a special talk in Chambers Park on Monday evening.
A visit to the Portadown Rugby Club venue by Sierra Leone’s Armani Kamara has been arranged via the Manchester City-organised City In The Community project.
Supporters from the Portadown branch of the English football club’s fanbase recently helped generate much-needed funds for the purchase of a mini-bus in Sierra Leone.
A former Portadown resident, Phil Holme, also made the trip to Africa with ex-City captain, Paul Lake, to deliver the mini-bus and additional aid.
The talk will start at 8.30, with everyone welcome to attend.
