Marie Chambers

The death took place suddenly on January 8 of Marie Chambers, late of Westland Road, Portadown.

She was the wife of the late Hendy and mother of Carol and Mark.

Mother-in-law of Sharon she was a grandmother and great grandmother.

Her funeral was last Thursday to St Columba’s Parish Church, Portadown, with interment in Seagoe Cemetery.

David Wolsey Kane

The death took place on January 10 after a short illness of David Wolsey Kane, late of Kilmore Road, Richhill.

He was the husband of May and father of Anne, David, Zoe and Jill.

He was father-in-law of Paul, Shirley, Brian and Roy and a much loved granda.

Also regretted by brother William, sister-in-law Rita, nephew Mark. niece Sharon and her husband Ian, sister Ruth, brother-in-law Hugh, niece Christine and her husband Keith, nephew Nathan and his wife Charity and great niece Hannah.

Renee Kathleen Robinson

Renee Kathleen Robinson died peacefully at hospital on January 11.

She was the wife of the late George Robinson, MBE, 23 Orchard Drive, Portadown, and mother of Martin, Colin, Julie and Timothy.

Her funeral was on Sunday to Seagoe Parish Church with interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Maureen Elsie Stanley

The death took place peacefully at home on January 11 of Maureen Elsie Stanley, Vicarage Road, Portadown.

She was the wife of the late Harry and mother of Karen, Anne and Ruth.

She was the mother-in-law of Kyle and granny of Sam, Megan, Ellen, Rebecca and Harry.

Her funeral was on Sunday to St Saviour’s Parish Church, The Dobbin, with interment in the adjoining graveyard.

John George Johnston

After a short illness the death took place peacefully at hospital on January 13 of John George (Jack) Johnston, 10 Hampton Court, Portadown.

He was the husband of Maureen and father of Gerald, Cecil, Jackie, Hubert and Dorothy.

Father-in-law of David, Linda, Barbara and Heather he was the grandfather of Kyle, Stuart, Gary, Andrew, Gillian, Stephen, Gareth, Matthew and Milo.

His funeral was on Tuesday to St Mark’s Parish Church, Portadown, with interment in Drumcree Parish Churchyard.


Eveline Russell

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on January 13 of Eveline Russell, late of Park Road, Portadown.

She was the daughter of the late Joe and Gertie and sister of Trudy and the late Maureen and John.

House and funeral were private.

Vincent Wright

The death took place on January 12 of Vincent Wright, 2 Avonmere, Craigavon.

He was the husband of Charlotte and father of Nancy, Kit, Anna-Clare, Rosemary and the late Jeffrey and Bobby.

His funeral was on Monday to St Anthony’s Church with interment in St John’s Cemetery, Drumcree.

Olive Josephine Ebbitt

The death took place peacefully at home on January 14 of Olive Josephine Ebbitt, 105 Derryhale Road, Portadown.

She was the wife of the late John Joseph and mother of Florence and John.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to Bethany Free Presbyterian Church with interment in Kernan Cemetery.

Annie Elizabeth Gibbins

Annie Elizabeth Gibbins dies peacefully at Sandringham Nursing Home on January 14.

She was the wife of the late James (Jimmy) and William (Bill) Buckley, late of Stronge Court and Corcrain, Portadown.

She was the mother of May and Pamela.

Also remembered by sons-in-law Robert and George, grandchildren Nichola and Stuart and his wife Judith, great grandchildren Scott, Jessica and Hayden and family circle.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to St Columba’s Parish Church with interment in Seagoe Cemetery.

Eileen Haugh

The death took place suddenly at home on January 14 of Eileen Haugh, Burnbrae Avenue, Portadown.

She was the wife of the late James and mother of Joan, Brian, Marion and Sandra.

She was the mother-in-law of Gerald, Eileen and Terry and a devoted nanny and great nanny.

Her funeral was on Wednesday to Armagh Road Presbyterian Church with interment in Kernan Cemetery.

Mary Neill

The death took place peacefully on January 15 of Mary (May) Neill, late of Watson Street, Portadown.

She was the mother of Conrad, John and Zoe, mother-in-law of Mary, daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel and sister of Emerald and David.

Her funeral was on Thursday to First Presbyterian Church, Portadown, with interment in Seagoe Parish Churchyard.
