Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, as part of the Northern Ireland Year of Food & Drink 2016, the month of June is dedicated to ‘Love Dairy’ and Lurgan Market is giving you a chance to taste, see and hear what it’s like to live in the country.

Taking place from 9am to 3pm, a variety of local suppliers and exhibitors will be on hand showcasing raw milk tasting, wormery demonstrations and composting.

There will be lots of activity on the day with local Eco-Schools and representatives from Bleary Young Farmers, Adopt a street and Green Dog Walkers coming along to share their experience and advice and giving shoppers the chance to sign up to the Council schemes.

There will also be an opportunity to get your photo taken with Council’s very own ‘Daisy the cow’ and a chance to enter a free raffle to win a family goodie bag.

With schools out for summer and/or voting, it’s the perfect way to keep your little ones entertained!
