THE achievements of members of Thomas Street Methodist Girls’ Brigade were celebrated at the annual parents’ night.
In the Explorers section the Recruit Cup was won by Sarah Cranston; the top 4-5 year old was Lucy Toal, 5-6 year old Lucy Turkington, 6-7 year old Lucy Miskelly and 7-8 year old Reo Morton.
The Bessie Forde Cup was won by Abigail Gracey and the Margaret Woods Shield for Best Squad went to Reo Morton, Katie Porter, Sarah Flavelle, Gracie Forbes, Alisha Reilly, Beth McBurney, Libby Wallace, Beth Porter and Abigail Watt.
Full attendance certificates were presented to Reo Morton, Anna McBurney, Lola Morton, Kirsten Ferguson, Alisha Reilly, Abigail Gracey, Lucy Turkington, Lucy Toal, Beth McBurney and Sara Irvine.
Sarah Gale won The Jean Hall Cup and Anna McBurney The Scripture Cup.
The Best Junior was Sophie Reilly, Best Senior was Luci Mullen and Best Brigader was Jenny Cox.
Megan Symington won Best Junior Scripture and Alice McClung Best Senior Scripture. The prize for Brigader Scripture went to Jenny Cox.
The Endeavour and Effort Award was won by Jenny Cox and the Best Squad was that led by Gail Lockhart and consisting of Natalie Reilly, Chloe Black, Aimee Gale, Mollie McBurney, Chloe Wilson, Megan Symington, Luci Mullan and Hannah Knowles.
The award for GB Week went to Sarah Allen and the Joint Sister award to Amy and Sarah Flavelle.
Heidi Simmons, Emma Lewis and Chloe-Dawn Smith won full attendance awards.
Brigader Brooches were presented to Jenny Cox and Megan White and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to Grace Eakin (gold), Megan White and Laura Stevenson (silver) and Jasmine Henderson, Hayley Ferguson, Chloe Black, Emily Edgar, Beth McAdam, Natalie Reilly and Jill Woolsey (bronze).
