Denise cut after victory

THE winner of the Queen Mother's Cup Marie Curie Cancer Charity event at Carrickblacker was Denise Mowbray with 39 points.
Second with 37 points was Sadie White, who shaded the verdict over Betty Williamson who also scored 37.

Fourth was Rosemarie Wilson with 36 points from Ann Brisbane.

The winner of the ladies’ 9-hole competition was Ann Madill (19 points).

Handicap reductions as a result of all of this have seen Denise Mowbray trimmed from 28 to 27 and Betty Williamson also cut one from 28 to 27.

The Cowdy Cup Team play at Killymoon whilke the Junior Foursomes face Allen Park. Good luck to both.

The ladies’ open competition will be played on Monday and some times are still available. To book, contact the pro shop.
