POOL: HANOVER proved too strong for Robinson's A in the Gary's Cup final - sealing the Portadown Pool League-backed trophy with a well-earned 5-4 success.
The opening exchanges were hard-fought encounters, with Ally Hunniford and Barry Beattie on target for Robinson’s A over Jason Woods and Geordie Burns respectively.

Hanover’s winners were Trevor Buchanan and Dean Bunting at the expense of Ryan Taylor and Trevor Pentland respectively.

Back-to-back wins by Wayne Harrison and Steven Woods pushed Hanover into a strong position before Geoff Farr reduced the deficit.

Gavin Scott pushed Hanover into a 5-3 advantage by beating Steven Robinson, with Barry Harrison losing out in the closing frame but Hanover lifting silverware.

In Division Two, Chalet and Bowles B shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw.
