BALLYHEGAN ladies recently enjoyed success by three points over newly-promoted Silverbridge thanks to a determined display.
A bright start by Ballyhegan featured impressive movement along the forward line, with scores provided by Laura McKeever and Danielle Morgan.

Brenda McCormack and Morgan added to the first-half tally but Silverbridge proved in top form over the closing exchanges.

POINTS

Ballyhegan regrouped thanks to points by Lisa Knox and McKeever before the break.

Goals over the opening encounters in the second half, scored by Kirsty Thompson and Morgan respectively, pushed Ballyhegan into a positive position.

McKeever and Laura Forker wrapped up the scoring - with Allanah Hughes, Sarah Morgan and Catherine McCormack also in fine form.
