SNOOKER RESULTS from the latest County Armagh Snooker League fixtures are as follows:
GREEN BAIZE TROPHY (SEMI-FINALS) GREEN BAIZE C 3 LEGIONAIRES 1

IAN Megaw lost out to Green Baize’s Stephen Hutchinson during the opening frame of this last-four clash.

Hutchinson produced a superb display of potting over the early exchange
s but Megaw proved competitive.

Megaw appeared on course to close the gap before Hutchinson potted the brown, blue, pink and black for victory.

Robert Porter doubled the lead against the sluggish Kyle Nesbitt with a commanding display.

Porter managed to produce strong safety play and impressive breaks to take control.

Gareth Gillow wrapped up Green Baize’s win at the expense of Robert Gillanders.

A strong performance by Gillow, including a mid-frame break of 27, helped him home.

Jeff Hendren registered a consolation frame for Legionaires by beating Darren Gillow with ease.

Both teams opted to scratch the final tussle.

Green Baize C will now take on Masonic B in the final following the other semi-final: Mechanics’ Institute 2 Masonic B 3 - J.Crozier 72 W.Hewitt 59, N.Flanagan 84 W.Murdoch 53, R.Taylor 45 D.Magee 71, D.Grimason 59 J.O’Neill 66, G.Smyth 58
