MID-ULSTER CUP (UNDER 11s) EDENDERRY BOYS 1 ARMAGH CITY 0
ZACH McClelland’s second-half strike proved enough to settle Saturday’s Mid-Ulster Cup quarter-final clash in the favour of Edenderry Boys’ FC under 11s.

McClelland found the net with a controlled volley after the interval to see off a determined Armagh City outfit.

Clever play in the first half by Edenderry ended with McClelland forcing the goalkeeper into a smart stop.

Edenderry enjoyed the upper hand across the second half and finally gained a reward in the closing stages.

EDENDERRY BOYS:Ben Rogers, Adam Fitzpatrick, Scott Megaw, Conor McKibben, Peter Baxter, Harry Proctor, Adam Thornbury, Matthew Connolly, Jack Hawthorne, Zach McClelland, Matthew McDowell. Subs:Jamie McKerr.
