HANOVER manager, Neil McCullough, will turn his focus beyond club commitments this weekend during the visit of a Leinster Football Association select side to the borough.
The annual Ivan Marshall Memorial Trophy showpiece will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the home of Lurgan Town Football Club - with McCullough in charge of the Mid-Ulster Intermediate League representative squad.
Preparations have included intensive training sessions and series of friendly dates against Irish League clubs in a bid to retain the challenge trophy.
This weekend’s clash will start at 2 o’clock, with extra-time and a penalty shoot-out on the cards if required.
Lurgan’s Gordon Playing Fields will stage the Mid-Ulster League fixture from 2 o’clock. Lurgan Celtic reserves - the defending Mid-Ulster League Division One champions - will represent the area against Leinster FA.
A presentation dinner will take place in Craigavon Civic Centre following the popular games.
