PORTADOWN'S David Morrison finished third at Nutts Corner Oval during the high-profile Pro Stocks final.
Morrison battled hard but was unable to close the gap on winner, Robert Diffin or experienced runner-up, Ryan Abernethy.
However, he proved too strong for Ryan Magee, Portadown's Stefan McClelland and Neil Wright.
In the Lightning Rods final, Andy Cochrane from Portadown secured a podium placing behind David McMenemy and Mervyn Emerson thanks to a steady drive.
Another town driver, Thomas Dilly, was next home ahead of Ricky Shaw and Dane Ferry.
The Two-Litre Hot Rods final featured Nigel McCauley from Tandragee and Portadown's Alvin Doak on the grid.
McCauley was in fine form over the opening stages of the meeting but failed to finish.
Doak had to settle for a spot in seventh behind Gareth Hagan, Gary O'Neill, Gary Wilson, Shane Murray, Denver McLean and David Clarke.
The focus tomorrow (Saturday) for fans of the sport will be on the National Hot Rods Championship in England.
