POOL TAVERN'S early-season knockout form continued into the opening week of Portadown Pool League Division One fixtures with a 5-3 defeat of Gary's Bar.
Richhill recorded success over Hanover by the same scoreline, with Seagoe and Rovers sharing the spoils against Bowles A and Robinson’s A respectively over eight frames.
In Division Two, Bowles B proved too strong for Chalet in a 7-1 triumph - the same tally by which Legion defeated Jameson’s.
Huntsman brushed aside Sally’s by 6-2 and the final match - between Robinson’s B and Shamrock - finished in a 4-4 draw.
