Richhill’s Marshall Cup campaign was cut short by a 3-1 defeat at Donaghmore.
Neil Rowntree’s villagers dominated the initial stages - with Andrew Allen capping off a slick team move to break the deadlock.
However, Donaghmore held a 2-1 lead at half-time then scored the decisive third after the interval.
In the O’Hara Cup’s first round, Richhill reserves recorded an emphatic 6-0 success against Glenavy.
William Crozier marked his debut with a double and Chris Lester also finished having bagged a brace.
Brent Murray kicked off the scoring, with Justin Cully capping the rout.
Richhill Swifts’ Lonsdale League side lost out by 3-2 against Keady Celtic, with goals from Sam Keys and Willie Anderson.
