Bourneview Mill manager Mark Jackson highlighted the team effort behind Saturday’s derby delight.
Mark Boyce created one goal - for Kyle Abraham - and scored another as the Mill proved too strong for Markethill Swifts.
Jackson, however, refused to single out individual achievement after the whistle.
“It was a brilliant all-round display, with everyone playing a part,” he said. “We created a lot of chances and could have won by a greater margin.”
An own goal handed the Swifts a consolation.
“Neil Shaw hit the bar with a close-range header so that was frustrating,” said David Andrews, the Markethill Swifts manager. “However, overall we did not do too much and Bourneview were certainly the better side.”
Abraham rounded the goalkeeper to convert Boyce’s pass before the latter guided home a superb free-kick.
