Three deflections left St Mary’s on the backfoot against Newry City AFC.
The Saints entered half-time on level terms thanks to a determined display, with Sean Brady the lone frontman.
Hopes of building on the first-half positives were cut short with a deflected goal for Newry.
Luke Carvill levelled the match soon after by capping neat approach play between Ryan Murphy and Brady with a slick strike.
Michael O’Hehir was also on target - off a Chris Mackle cross - but Newry finished in front thanks to two additional deflections and a late fourth.
