League officials have issued the following statement relating to player registration and club information:
“As we approach pre-season all clubs will be in the process of signing new and existing players,” said Stephen Magill, the Mid-Ulster Football League registration secretary, on Friday. “All clubs will receive an email this weekend with information relating to this, please keep an eye out and should you not receive one get in contact with myself.
“In the meantime, clubs must provide the details of the following positions: chairman, secretary and manager.
“Name, e-mail and telephone number information is required as only these people can sign forms and all information will be communicated by your club secretary.”
Broomhill’s Armstrong Cup campaign was cut short at the quarter-final stage with defeat by Caledon Rovers.
The match featured a dramatic winner for Rovers and late red card - with Ryan Harper and Dan Rayner the Broomhill scorers.
Kick-off has been set at Millfield as 7.30 for the competition’s remaining fixtures.
Craigavon Senior High School’s Pablo De Andrade featured for Northern Ireland under 15s last week against Slovakia.
The schoolboys’ striker lined out at the NTC Stadium Senec for the friendly.
De Andrade produced two assists in the 3-3 draw.
