Hanover celebrated a return to Mid-Ulster’s senior stage with a convincing 7-0 success.

Having spent six seasons outside of the top flight, Hanover wasted little time in making a mark on Saturday with a three-goal blast inside 10 minutes.

Justin Bradley - a target for a number of Irish League clubs - finished with four goals, including a volley and acrobatic effort. Thai Blevins, Regan McIlveen and Simon Foster each marked Hanover debuts with appearances on the scoresheet.

“The recent friendly against a Linfield team at Brownstown Park really helped our preparations,” said Hanover’s Dean Crowe. “Our thanks to Linfield and everyone who offered support.”
