LOUGHGALL Youth under 11s finished as section champions during Saturday’s Mid-Ulster League programme.

A 4-3 defeat of Tandragee Rovers resulted in the villagers collecting silverware.

Tim Wharton scored a brace of goals and was joined by Kyle West and Zane Brown.

However, it proved a strong team display by Loughgall Youth.

Loughgall Youth now sit fourth overall in the standings.

LOUGHGALL Youth under nines recently took part in a friendly against Hillsborough Boys to help prepare the team for next season’s nine-a-side programme.

The game was won by Loughgall Youth - with goals from Chris Lindsay, Sam Kerr, Josh Irwin, Sam Cochrane in a 6-2 success.

TANDRAGEE ROVERS would like to hear from anyone interested in coaching under 11s and under 12s.

Club officials have started a recruitment drive for coaching staff to join the Youth Academy.

The role will involve midweek training and weekend games.
